Well. That was... Interesting.

It was nice to have everyone over, even if we were missing a couple of people. I wasn't even on fire when they showed up. (It was a distinct possibility. Icing is the enemy.) Since everyone was a bit early, we got to just have some gossip. Salts, your Ian seems lovely, hopefully I'll get to meet him soon!

Not even kidding. Went to Mike's for dinner. His gorgeous wife Jenny, showing the best sort of telepathy, had made lasagne and was very gracious about my lemon meringue pie. You're a lucky man Mike. You've a great place too, that mural's going to look lovely.
